Our 1st Quarter 2026 volunteer opportunity at Minnie's Food Pantry was a big hit!

We are happy to say that we have confirmed our 2nd Quarter event for 2026!

Volunteering at Minnie’s Food Pantry offers a great opportunity for our NTRP group to provide a meaningful, positive impact in our local community! During your volunteer experience at Minnie’s Food Pantry, our group will be responsible for a variety of tasks including, but not limited to those listed below.

Volunteer Task:

Contactless interaction with clients: placing food items in trunk of client's vehicle via drive through distribution preparing bags filled with fresh produce & dairy items, preparing bags filled with frozen items, such as meats and ready-to-eat meals, stocking shelves, sorting donations, preparing boxes, assisting at Minnie's Boutique, etc. (volunteer task vary day to day based on organization needs)

Volunteer Requirements/Age Requirements:
1. Due to the nature of the tasks to be accomplished we require all volunteers to be 16 years or older. In addition, volunteers under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

2. Sign-in at the front desk, and create a name tag. Ahtletic shoes/boots are preferred footwear. If you are not feeling well, please stay home to protect yourself and others.

3. Must be able to lift 20lbs.

Lone Star Relocation Conference (21 Apr 2026)

April 13th is the last day to register for the epic Lone Star Relocation Summit, the premier relocation conference in Texas this year, taking place April 21–22 in Fort Worth, TX.

This is a joint conference hosted by three Texas relocation councils:

Houston Relocation Professionals (HRP)
North Texas Relocation Professionals (NTRP)

Event Details

Venue: Billy Bob’s Texas – Fort Worth Stockyards (Stockyards District)
Dates: Tuesday, April 21 & Wednesday, April 22
Day 1: 9:00 AM – 7:30 PM (Tuesday, April 21)
Day 2: Begins at 8:15 AM (Wednesday, April 22)

This will be a Texas-sized event in an unforgettable setting. Billy Bob’s Texas is an iconic Fort Worth venue built for high-energy, large-scale gatherings, and it’s the perfect home for a conference designed to bring the relocation industry together in a big way.
